About This Cause
NOCO Humane is an independent, 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, is non-government, and is not a part of any national humane organizations. Founded in 1969, NOCO Humane’s mission is to further the compassionate, safe, and responsible relationship between animals and people. As an open admission shelter, NOCO Humane admits every animal in need, regardless of breed, age, behavior or history, including lost, abandoned, injured, abused, ill and orphaned animals. We provide balanced nutrition, complete medical care, exercise and behavioral enrichment, quality adoptions, humane education, and Animal Protection and Control services for more than 10,000 domestic animals each year.
