Mission Statement

To provide exceptional health care to people facing access barriers through clinical programs and education.

About This Cause

Peak Vista Community Health Centers exists to provide health care to everyone, regardless of ability to pay. We work to remove barriers to care, and help individuals and families in our communities to access whole-person, whole-family, integrated medical, dental, and mental health care services. We serve 74,214 of our region's employees, friends, neighbors and families every year. We provide resources and connect our patients with a wide-array of wrap-around services and care coordination. We are a true medical home for those within the communities we serve. Peak Vista is the Federally Qualified Health Center for the Pikes Peak and East Central Colorado Regions. That means that we receive federal funding to provide care to underserved communities where economic, geographic, or cultural barriers limit access to affordable health care services. To achieve this designation, we must meet rigorous standards in governance, access, quality of care, service, and cost. Who We Serve 87% of of our patients are at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (equals income of $27,180/year for a single person or $55,500 for a family of four). 17% of our patients have no insurance at all.
