Mission Statement
Kids First Health Care is committed to improving the health and well-being of infants, children, and youth through providing primary and preventive health services in partnership with schools and other community organizations.
About This Cause
Our pediatric health care providers are dedicated to providing high quality health care for Adams County children. Established in 1978, we operate under the philosophy that every child deserves health care. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created specifically to meet the needs of children ages birth to 21 who otherwise could not afford health care. We are governed by a volunteer board of directors. During our 2018-19 fiscal year, Kids First served approximately 4,000 children and youth through more than 11,000 integrated health care visits. Though located in Adams County, Kids First serves children and youth from across the Denver metro area. Kids First provides services to any child or young adult between the ages of 0-21, regardless of where they reside, at our Commerce City, Westminster, and Brighton community pediatric clinics. At our school-based health centers, which are located within middle and high schools, Kids First provides services exclusively to students who attend that school.
