Mission Statement
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Loveland Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Through shelter, we empower. Our shared vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
About This Cause
The primary goal of Loveland Habitat for Humanity is to build strength, stability and self-reliance for families through access to permanent shelter. We empower families to own their own home, and have income available to invest in education, pursue opportunity, and have more financial stability. We work to provide a hand up, not a handout. Habitat volunteers build houses in partnership with families in need of decent, affordable housing. The houses are then sold to the families with an affordable mortgage and no interest. To accomplish this, we raise money, recruit volunteers and work in partnership with families in need of decent, affordable housing. We believe that by working at a local level, we can better use our resources and make an immediate difference in people’s lives.
