Mission Statement
Northglenn Judo Club has been teaching the fundamentals of Judo since 1965, and is the longest continually operating Judo club in the state of Colorado. As a 501c3 nonprofit corporation, our club has been operating on charitable contributions for over 48 years.
About This Cause
We teach both competitive and recreational Judo to both children and adults. Our competitive athletes are well prepared mentally and physically to compete at the local, national, and international level. In addition, our club hosts tournaments which draw competitors from across the nation. Your donations will help pay registration fees for tournaments our athletes compete in, and contributes to travel expenditures for athletes competing at numerous levels. Also in place is a program in which committed students at the high school level are able to travel to Japan for extended periods of time. This not only furthers their Judo training, but helps them to get a better feel for the culture and country in which Judo began. Our club is fully run by volunteers and every donation we receive goes directly to offset expenses related to operation. All of our coaches are volunteers who have contributed thousands of hours to helping students become not only good Judo players, but also respected, well-rounded citizens.
