Satyana Institute's mission is to support individuals, communities, and organizations to combine inner work of the heart with outer service in the world. Gender Equity and Reconciliation International's (GERI) mission is to transform gender injustice and establish beloved community.
About This Cause
Developed over 32 years, and conducted with thousands of participants on six continents, the Gender Equity and Reconciliation International (GERI) process creates safe forums for women, men, and people of all genders to jointly confront and transform personal and cultural conditioning around gender and sexuality. Guided through an innovative and skillfully facilitated process of interactive activities, personal reflection, and transformative group process, participants unpack and explore the sensitive and often taboo issues related to gender and sexuality, and begin to re-form gender relations without blame or shame. Through this process, ordinary men and women, from all walks of life, can come together to overcome challenges and misunderstandings, find their way through the quagmire of gendered dysfunction, and awaken and restore mutual awe, respect, and reverence between the sexes.
