Mission Statement
Founded in 1996, WOW! Children’s Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing educational, interactive exhibits, programs, and activities for all children – bringing families together in a creative environment that sparks imagination, inspires learning through play, and supports school readiness.
About This Cause
What We Do We Inspire Learning – Our hands-on science, art and cultural exhibits and programs get children learning in a fun and creative way. We provide an opportunity to ask questions, experiment and apply lessons learned to real life. We Enhance Education – It is important for children to become engaged in science education from a young age. Our drop-in science programs make science accessible down to as young as 18 months! For older children, we bring hands-on science education directly to the classroom, or provide it here through Museum field trips. We Connect Community – WOW! is a place where parents can get out of the house, meet their neighbors and connect to the place we live. By bringing in other community groups – musicians, artists, educators, and storytellers, we’re connecting families with the rich resources available in our community.
