Rebuilding Together Colorado repairs homes, revitalizes communities and rebuilds lives. Our vision is safe homes and communities for everyone. Rebuilding Together Colorado and its network of sponsors and volunteers provide crucial home repairs, safety modifications and energy efficiency upgrades to qualified homeowners and community centers in need.
About This Cause
Rebuilding Together Colorado (RTCO) is the leading provider of home repair services for homeowners in need throughout the Denver Metro area and Colorado Springs, El Paso County area. Founded in 1999, RTCO has served hundreds of economically-challenged communities and thousands of homeowners who are veterans, older adults, and people with disabilities and multi-generational families living on minimal incomes. RTMD addresses what might be tragic outcomes by providing home repairs so these homeowners may continue to live in safe and healthy homes. Through home repairs and modifications, falls are prevented, energy efficiency upgrades are performed and homes are made safer and healthier. In the process of rebuilding homes, lives are transformed and neighborhoods revitalized. We are part of a nation-wide organization, Rebuilding Together, Inc. Established in 1988, Rebuilding Together has over 130 affiliates working across the U.S. to preserve affordable housing by bringing volunteers and communities together to rehabilitate the homes of low-income homeowners. The cumulative effort is a total of 2.5 million volunteers having worked 30 million hours to rehabilitate more than 100,000 houses and non-profit facilities delivering $1 billion in market value.
