About This Cause
Our organization offers a comprehensive, year-long Cultivating Emotional Balance Certified Practitioner Training (CEBCPP). CEBCPP is an evidence based, secular, educational training committed to utilizing the experience of emotion as a path for developing the happiness of being ourselves and in relation to others. By integrating the wisdom traditions of modern psychology, contemplative practices, and current emotion research, Cultivating Emotional Balance (CEB) provides a secular platform for transformation. In this year-long course, participants learn how to incorporate and support others in the key components of CEB. *Understanding how emotions work, and how they can work for and not against us *Recognizing and working with emotional triggers *Deepening awareness and stabilizing attention *Increasing compassion for self and others *Cultivating happiness of being and mental balance The CEBCPP course is delivered via in-person and online sessions. The training include two-week long retreats and learning sessions, monthly online content, assignments, webinar and check in with small group and instructors, self-paced daily meditation practice ad small group learning opportunities. With the rising number of individuals working in high stress occupations, CEB is especially relevant. It provides a number of different, practical emotional skills which lead to a better understanding of our emotional like and support and increase in constructive emotional episodes. Through careful investigation of our metal and emotional life and our embodies experience, we can generate superb emotional balance. Given our exempt purpose is education with the explicit goal of training individuals to cultivate emotional balance and training practitioners for that purpose, the activity described above, furthers our exempt purpose by ensuring the participants are trained, supported, and motivated to offer CEB courses/workshops to wide segments of the population including educational settings, hospitals and medical personnel, prisons and jails, and addiction recovery centers to name a few.
