Mission Statement
Every Child Central Oregon mobilizes community to uplift children & families impacted by foster care in Central Oregon (Deschutes, Crook and Jefferson Counties and The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs).
About This Cause
Every Child believes everyone has something to bring to uplift children and families impacted by foster care. What we do: Empower Volunteers: Everyone in the community has something to contribute to children and families impacted by foster care in Oregon. Every Child offers a range of opportunities for community members to engage from meeting a tangible need to volunteering their time and gifts. Raise up new foster parents: Every Child is relentless about sharing the acute need for more foster families in the community and inviting individuals and families to open their hearts and homes to support children in crisis. Support families impacted by foster care: Every Child mobilizes communities to wrap around foster families, relative care givers, and birth families with encouragement and support as a way to both preserve families and help sustain and retain families who are standing in the gap through foster care. Story-telling: By shining a spotlight on kids and families impacted by foster care, Every Child challenges the stigma and stereotypes often associated with foster care while inviting community in to bring what they can to the table.
