Mission Statement
The mission of Journey ADC is to assist adults 18+ (specializing in senior care) and families in the enhancement of their emotional, mental and physical well-being by providing adult day health care services through group activities and individual personal care plans. We endeavor to serve the greater community to equip them with health access through activities, events, workshops and advocacy.
About This Cause
Our Center provides respite to caregivers who need some time to rest and take care of themselves. We also provide specialized and specific services to older adults who require a bit of extra help by focusing on what they still can do. The cognitive and personal development activities revitalizes their lives. We seek help to: *purchase computer equipment for our computer area to teach basic skills *Caregiver support monthly workshops include payment for CPR certification *Program equipment such as games, skill development toys, puzzles, etc *Shelves, bags and other items needed to set up a community pantry for seniors with special diets
