About This Cause
For the last few years, we have been hard at work on a passion project near and dear to us all - building an educational farm in the heart of Beverly Hills. We strive to increase wellness, food security, environmental stewardship and community connection… all strikingly more pressing in light of the pandemic. Our Grow Local initiative was created to directly address some of the local impacts of the pandemic, utilizing vacant commercial space for vertical growing to donate nutrient-rich, highly flavorful fresh food to those in need. Ultimately we plan to create an outdoor farm which will strengthen community connection with each other and our environment through hands-on participation, engagement and education. We will grow beautiful fresh produce for local residents and restaurants, and the farm will become an outdoor classroom and community center, a place for all members of the community to come together safely; from students to seniors, for families and friends. All will be welcome to join in the growing process, get their hands dirty, enjoy some fresh air and tap into a world of wellness resources
