Mission Statement
Equality Loudoun is a non-profit organization that advocates, educates, defends, and builds a community to support LGBTQ+ equality in Loudoun County.
About This Cause
Since 2003, Equality Loudoun has worked to make Loudoun County, VA a welcoming place for all of its residents by advocating for the LGBTQIA+ community and helping to create a diverse, equitable, and inclusive place to live, learn, and love. Every family deserves safety and security. Every child deserves a safe and supportive education. Every person deserves a life of dignity, respect, and happiness. We are a collection of unpaid, grassroots volunteers who have worked tirelessly for over two decades to bring about a vision of equality. Led by a Board of Directors, we work to advance our mission on all fronts by building relationships with businesses, faith allies, service providers, medical professionals, teachers, parents, community leaders, and more to create a respectful community for all. In 2021, Equality Loudoun became an incorporated legal entity and an officially designated 501(c)3 non-profit charity. All contributions are tax-deductible.
