About This Cause
SAMA Music & Art is a nonprofit dedicated to fostering empathy, cultural understanding, and global connection through the unifying power of music. In an era marked by social fragmentation, cultural misunderstandings, and dwindling opportunities for genuine human interaction, SAMA offers an alternative path: one where diverse voices, traditions, and experiences come together to reveal our shared humanity. By presenting global roots music, hosting live performances, and sharing stories through recorded interviews and documentaries, SAMA invites audiences to engage with the richness of diverse cultural expressions. Our goal is to create welcoming, communal spaces—both online and in-person—where people can explore unfamiliar traditions, broaden their perspectives, and form meaningful connections.
