Mission Statement
The mission of The Collegiate Black Male Network is to increase the persistence and graduation rates of collegiate African-American males through mentoring. The vision of The Collegiate Black Male Network is to become the leading mentoring organization for collegiate African-American males.
About This Cause
We're on a mission to see every African American male in college earn a college degree! With respect to not growing faster than our sustainable measures in place, our ten (10) year strategic plan, Operation 2030, includes four significant outcomes: Increase the number of participants committed to The Collegiate Black Male Network by expanding the program to 6 schools, recruiting students who value student success, recruiting professional mentors who value the mission, and expanding the online presence. Increase the persistence and graduation rates of students participating in the program by supporting the completion of yearly milestones and retaining students at a rate greater than or equal to 70%. To expand our organization's reach, we need sustainable growth and reliable donors. We'll engage program alumni with a participant database. As we scale, we'll generate support from private and public donors.
