Mission Statement
Hope Artificial Intelligence Inc. (HopeAI.org), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation is focused on offering secure and scalable online learning to incarcerated students in the US prison system for digital technical career courses and industry-recognized professional certifications from top-tier high-tech companies to optimize their reintegration into society, resulting in major reduction in recidivism and significant social impact on the inmates, their families, and communities. HopeAi education platform is accessible by adults in custody with a simple browser on a thin client computer, providing all the security features required by prisons and jails. In partnership with Cisco, the online hybrid delivery of the courses of Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) to inmates in prison was successfully demonstrated at the Valley State Prison (VSP) in Chowchilla, California, with the California Department of Correction and Rehabilitation (CDCR).
About This Cause
This novel solution provides tools and resources for personalized learning in state/federal prisons and jails with hybrid asynchronous/synchronous adaptive online courses to enable inmates gaining education and professional development skills necessary to be successful in a highly competitive, technology driven society. This unique solution is positioned to provide high quality technical curriculum along with professional certifications enabling incarcerated and justice affected individuals gainful job placement after their release and providing major reduction in recidivism and significant social impact on the inmates and their communities. (See https://hopeai.org/). As Cisco Academy, HopeAi is currently delivering Cisco Certification for Network Administration (CCNA) to inmates at the Valley State Prison in Chowchilla, California. Other professional career courses (including Digital and Social-Media Marketing; Project Management, IT Management, Cloud Practitioner; and Sales Management, Data Analytics, and others) will be offered in many state and federal prisons and county jails, providing professional career certificates to many of the 600,000 inmates released yearly.
