Mission Statement

Our mission is to prevent youth suicide through education, cyber safety, and kindness campaigns.

About This Cause

Founded in 2019 by the parents of a beautiful twelve year boy lost to suicide. Gabriel was in seventh grade. The organization seeks to share learnings that could have saved their son's life and the lives of our children. Our vision: A future free from youth suicide. What We Do: We forward our mission to prevent youth suicide through outreach, programs and funding related to each of our three pillars: Education, Cyber Safety, and Kindness Campaigns. In addition, we maximize our efforts by partnering with a select few likeminded organizations and provide resources to parents, educators and kids to inspire life-saving action. How We Take Action: Facing unprecedented device and technology-dependent months working and studying at home, Gabriel's Light launched an educational “QuaranTeens and Tweens” series to support parents and youth navigating the challenges of quarantine. (April -June, 2020) Each July grants are awarded to like minded organizations aligned with Gabriel’s Lights mission, extending the reach and work of Gabriel’s LIght (July, 2020, 2021) Gabriel's LIght Foundation is already in the 7th session of a Youth Ambassador program, engaging youth to raise awareness of suicide prevention education, anti bullying and self care, while building valuable, transferable skills of their own.
