Mission Statement
Animal Protection New Mexico (APNM) works to improve how society treats and views animals by strengthening laws and law enforcement, and establishing supportive programs and services that help animals and those who care about them. APNM changes the systems that cause and allow animal suffering.
About This Cause
Animal Protection New Mexico's vision is to "make humane the new normal." Eight programs comprise our life-affirming work: 1) Challenging Animal Cruelty; 2) Building Foundations to Keep Animals Safe; 3) Protecting Horses, Mules & Donkeys; 4) Teaching Compassion for Animals; 5) Securing Sanctuary for Chimpanzees; 6) Promoting Coexistence with Wildlife; 7) Changing Laws to Change Lives; and 8) Honoring Champions for Animals.
