Mission Statement
To rescue abused, abandoned, neglected and stray dogs and cats, rehabilitate and provide necessary medical care and then place them in permanent, loving homes.
About This Cause
CARMA is a no-kill, all-volunteer, non-profit dog and cat rescue. Established in 2000, CARMA has taken in almost 5,000 animals, most of whom have been placed in either foster or permanent adoptive homes. In addition, in 2017, CARMA established a pet food bank to assist families who are unable to provide food for their family pets. CARMA conducts adoptions at Petco and PetSmart and participates in special events aimed at identifying quality adoptive and foster homes.
