Mission Statement
Covid Clinic's mission is to provide full-service COVID-19 care to community members nationwide, with safe and convenient locations. Our goal is to heal our nation with caring, and accessible solutions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
About This Cause
Covid Clinic, Inc. is a nonprofit agency incorporated in April 2020 in response to the COVID-19 global pandemic. COVID-19 has disproportionately affected the health of Black, Latino, American Indian, and Alaska Native populations. Our focus is on underserved communities by improving health literacy, expanding awareness, building community trust, and connecting positive patient screenings for follow-up treatment. Per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), COVID-19 brought social and racial injustice and inequity to the forefront of public health, especially for marginalized groups (the economically disadvantaged, racial/ethnic minorities, uninsured, children, seniors, people with disabilities, homeless and those with HIV); those with limited healthcare access; housing and food insecure; and those experiencing educational, income and wealth gaps. Covid Clinic is overcoming the limitations of the healthcare system through practices of community engagement and awareness; addressing medical mistrust; accurate, safe, and timely COVID-19 testing services; patient navigation to clinical services certified in providing culturally responsive services to access COVID-19 vaccines and/or treatment. Covid Clinic has delivered over 7 million tests to clients across the country. We will continue to provide easy access to Covid-related healthcare, as well as grow our organization (expanding our services) to include additional forms of testing, with a central focus on underserved populations and youth healthcare.
