Mission Statement
At EMPOWER, we firmly believe that education, innovation and diversity serves as the backbone to solving many of our community’s problems. Our goal is to collaborate with local stakeholders across public, private, and faith based sectors for the enrichment of the Folsom community. Our purpose is to foster and support thought-provoking ideas, innovative solutions and creative endeavors that ultimately benefit the greater Folsom community and the world. The Empower Folsom non-profit exists to ensure the presence of events and opportunities which elevate and amplify a diverse group of voices to positively impact the Folsom community.
About This Cause
Empower partners with organizations throughout Folsom area to amplify voices through events and community activities. Our volunteers and local partners allow us to co-create experiences for hyperlocal impact. In many instances having a safe place free from judgement is all that is needed to begin conversations that drive change. Our Flagship event TEDxFolsom is a premier event in the Sacramento Region.
