Goddess Great mission is to build programs in the neighborhood and promote community engagement.
About This Cause
We implement programs that benefit Detroit residents and improve Urban communities. Our primary focus is to provide Detroit with a community center that promotes health and wellness. Goddess Great offers community programs: hypnobirthing education workshops, safe sleep workshops, breastfeeding support, community based doula program, community dance and movement therapy. We provide the community with programs that implement prevention and intervention methods that specifically address the significant racial disparities, birth inequalities in the healthcare system and restricted access to quality care and resources in Detroit towards African American families. Our programs impact the community at large. All Wayne county/Detroit residents who receive government assistance and/or identify as low income are impacted and eligible for our services.
