About This Cause
Our organization provides bimonthly emergency financial awards of up to $500 and free wellness workshops to Black Women throughout the United States. In 2021, we expanded our offerings to include free group therapy for Black women in Maryland. As part of our 2022 strategic plan, BWB continues to grow our group therapy programming through a partnership with Ballet After Dark. Founded almost ten years ago, Ballet After Dark is a Baltimore-based organization that provides free ballet and other dance classes to Black women trauma survivors in Maryland.
