By building a multidisciplinary model of healing and sustainability, New Earth Sanctuary addresses the intersection of the many environmental and social crises we face in life on Earth today. New Earth Sanctuary rescues, rehabilitates abused and abandoned animals in Colorado. We build community through outreach, education, and advocacy.

About This Cause

The New Earth Animal Sanctuary’s focus is to bring together ancestral wisdom and contemporary concerns regarding food’s impact on animals, people, and the community at large. This project has three main components designed to be a collaborative working educational model demonstrating new and old practices in a three parts program. Programs Build a model of multidisciplinary healing and sustainability that could be replicated by groups of people in various locations around the world. Develop a permaculture model to fund the program and feed those who have limited or no access to healthy and sustainably produced food options. Permaculture Geothermal Greenhouses Providing affordable, low-energy, cooperative housing. Sustainable building models (earthship/straw bale/yurts/tiny houses/etc.) Cooperative purchasing power Providing healing for abused, and abandoned animals, and people.
