About This Cause

Femi was a vibrant, joyful young woman who captured the hearts of everyone she met. Diagnosed with congenital heart disease at the age of nine, Femi faced numerous challenges with grace and courage, never allowing her condition to define her. Despite her heart condition, Femi lived life to the fullest, always optimistic, and always with a heart full of hope. After receiving a life-saving heart transplant, Femi lived for five more years before her heart ultimately gave out on August 26, 2019. On the anniversary of her passing, we established The Olouwafemi S. J. Tevoedjre Foundation, Inc.
