About This Cause
Compass Community Counseling is a Christian organization that seeks to demonstrate the love of Christ through mental health care services. The primary services we provide to our community include individual, couples, and group psychotherapy performed by state-licensed professionals (counselors and social workers). Our talented and compassionate team has provided therapy for a variety of mental health needs including, but not limited, those suffering from depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, family conflict, marital discord, parenting issues, burnout, addictions, career difficulties, grief, personality disorders, and mood disorders. We also seek to serve our community by offering trainings/consultations for local churches and organizations. Our core values determine how we go about our work of serving our community. CompassCC’s values are: • The Gospel: We believe that the gospel is the good news of what God has accomplished for sinners through the life, death, and resurrection of his Son, our savior, Jesus Christ. • Dignity: We believe that all people of all races and gender are created equally in God’s image and are equal in dignity and importance. All people have equal access to God through faith in Jesus Christ. We also believe that everyone should have access to quality mental health care services. • Relationship: We believe God created us for interpersonal relationship. Building strong, meaningful relationships are a basic need for all of us. We value building relationships amongst our team, within our community, and by helping our clients do the same. • Community: Part of our mission is to contribute to wellness within the community through trainings, support groups, and consultations to churches and organizations. • Affordability: We are a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. We seek to affirm the dignity of those with financial need by offering affordable counseling. We offer discounted fees/scholarships for services, to those in need. • Quality: We promote continued education for our clinicians so our clients can feel safe knowing their therapist is always growing in their skills.
