About This Cause
GEEX is an online platform that serves glass education through community-building programming and resource-sharing. Our primary programming, GEEX Talks, is a virtual visiting artist lecture series featuring exceptional artists and researchers in glass, with a focus on BIPOC and queer voices. Additional community-building programming includes a Flameworking Affinity Group, a BIPOC Co-learner Affinity Group, and a Writing Center to support glass artists at any career stage. In addition to these virtual classroom spaces to support glass learning, GEEX hosts the GEEX Resource Exchange—a user-contributed virtual textbook for glass education.
