Mission Statement
The Obodo Collective is an Community Development Corporation focused on bringing structural support to communities across the USA by focusing on aggregating the services of existing non-profit organizations at the community level into a central hub, as well as identifying those areas that are currently un-serviced and creating new opportunities to address them. Obodo believes that by combining the strengths of the disparate talents that exist to service the Community we can better serve the whole community and be a unified voice as to our specific needs.
About This Cause
The Obodo Collective is a Community Development Corporation focused on providing ongoing support for under serviced communities in order to combat poverty and lack of access to resources to make meaningful lasting changes in community members' lives. Staffed completely by local Community members, we are invested in the long-term health of our neighbors and neighborhood. Whether the need is addressing food insecurity, houselessness, access to educational opportunities or job placement, we are the "glue" for the community that connects our neighbors to the non-profit organizations who exist to support these initiatives.
