Mission Statement

At Pan Impact Foundation (PIF), we are on a mission to create pathways for African first-generations to thrive personally, educationally, and professionally. We empower African students and young professionals, with the tools, resources, and connections they need to succeed while strengthening their sense of purpose, identity, and community. Our vision is a future where West-African youth are empowered, united in service, and equipped with the knowledge and resources to succeed.

About This Cause

PIF serves the African diaspora—with a focus on low-resourced communities—by providing programs that foster growth, connection, and empowerment. From faith-based initiatives to professional development, our work reflects the collective values of service, education, and belonging. PIF Programs The Pathways Mentorship This program supports high school and college students and early-career professionals in navigating pivotal transitions into higher education and the workforce. Through tailored workshops, career counseling, seminars, and one-on-one mentorship, participants gain valuable tools to explore academic and professional opportunities while building essential skills for personal and professional success. Brotherhood Basketball League This community basketball league offers a safe, inclusive, and empowering space for young men of all backgrounds in New York City and surrounding areas. Rooted in Islamic values, the league welcomes participants of all faiths and fosters mentorship, teamwork, and camaraderie through sports. Inspired by the successful Muslim Basketball League in New Jersey, the program emphasizes community building, personal development, and fun. Aspire Scholarship Fund This fund recognizes youth who demonstrate academic excellence, community engagement, and a commitmentment to personal growth. Through providing financial assistance, the program supports deserving students in achieving their educational and career aspirations. Sisters’ Wellness This program creates a safe, faith-centered environment for Muslim women to prioritize health, wellness, and fitness. With activities, discussions, and resources tailored to their needs, this program encourages physical activity, mental well-being, and sisterhood in an empowering and supportive space. Ramadan Relief Project In partnership with Islamic Relief USA, we distribute food to over 1,000 families in New York City during the sacred month of Ramadan. Additionally, in collaboration with Nieta Radio Nonprofit, we provide food and clothing to 50–100 families and orphans in Mali. Through these efforts, we uphold the values of generosity and compassion, ensuring a spiritually uplifting Ramadan for those in need. Eid Qurbani Initiative This program ensures that the blessings of Eid al-Adha reach those in need. By facilitating Qurbani donations and efficiently distributing meat to 250–300 families, we provide nourishment and joy to underprivileged communities. Partnering with organizations like Islamic Relief, we uphold the tradition of sharing and compassion during this special occasion. Winter Coat Drive This program addresses the urgent needs of individuals and families during the harsh winter months in New York City. Through the distribution of warm clothing, blankets, heaters, and essential supplies, we aim to keep our community safe, comfortable, and resilient in the face of challenging weather conditions. Orphan Support Initiative This program provides comprehensive support to orphaned children through educational sponsorships, healthcare services, and emotional care. In addition, we sponsor children attending Hifdh programs, enabling them to memorize the Quran while pursuing their education. Our goal is to empower these children with the resources, opportunities, and spiritual foundation they need to thrive and build a secure, successful future. PIF Health Hub: Free Screenings & Education The PIF Health Hub offers free health screenings in partnership with local clinics and physicians. These events promote preventive care, educate community members on maintaining their well-being, and foster trust in healthcare systems. Together, we are building a healthier, more informed community. Eid Smiles Toy Drive Feedback The Eid Smiles Toy Drive brings joy to children during Eid celebrations by distributing toys to families in need. This initiative ensures that every child experiences the happiness and excitement of the holiday, fostering joy and connection within the community.
