Mission Statement
Friends of the Lake Oswego Hunt is dedicated to the preservation and conservation of the historic Lake Oswego Hunt Club. Our mission is to preserve the integrity of the historic property, educate the public on the crucial role the Lake Oswego Hunt Club played in Lake Oswego’s development, and maintain the historical artwork and archives to ensure the facility and its history is protected for generations to come.
About This Cause
Friends of the Hunt supports the historic preservation the Lake Oswego Hunt Club, founded in 1936. The historic equestrian facility is one of the few remaining large historic indoor equestrian arenas in the U.S. West. The facilities are listed on the National Historic Register, and require substantial care and maintenance to continue providing equestrian education, events, and recreation opportunities for the community.
