Mission Statement
As a cornerstone in its theatrical and artistic communities, Santa Fe Playhouse connects the artist with the audience. Through these interactions, the Playhouse engages in dialogue to examine, uplift, challenge, and heal through the visceral art of performance and storytelling.
About This Cause
Santa Fe Playhouse (SFP) is a 101 year old community-based professional theater in historic downtown Santa Fe New Mexico supported by a professional staff, and overseen by a local Board of Trustees. Producing out of a 99 seat historic adobe theater, every year SFP produces and presents; 6 mainstage productions, secondstage and co-productions, the annual Fiesta Melodrama, new work development, and Playhouse Studio. SFP welcomes over 8,000 patrons into the theater from northern New Mexico, the greater US, and around the world.
