About This Cause

Easterseals Blake Foundation was originally formed in 1950 as the Cerebral Palsy Foundation of Southern Arizona by a group of Tucson parents who struggled to find adequate services for their young children with special needs. Since then the agency has expanded to provide an array of services across the state of Arizona for children, youth, and adults of all abilities. The agency provides childcare (since 1950), early intervention (since 1975), vocational and employment training (since 1982), residential care (since 1993), behavioral health services (since 2004), and behavioral health outpatient services (since 2013). EBF has a significant social impact within our community as a resource for services that specializes in home and community-based services and serves over 40,000 children, adults, and families - both with and without special needs - annually in 10 Arizona counties. Blake Behavioral Health provides outpatient care coordination and therapy for children and families, comprehensive psychiatric and medication services, and therapeutic residential treatment. Blake Children & Family provides family support and education, including preservation and reunification, inclusive early childhood education, and professional development for childcare professionals. Blake Employment & Community Living works with adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities and provides residential and rehabilitative services; job development, coaching and employment support; supportive day programs and in-home support. As an Arizona Qualified Charitable Organization, your state tax liability is the total amount of tax you owe the state on your income. It is a percentage of your taxable income. A state tax credit lowers your tax liability. Unlike deductions, which reduce your taxable income, state tax credits reduce your state tax liability by the amount you donate. State tax credits are taken when you file your Arizona personal tax return, resulting in either less taxes owed or a larger refund. Our affiliate Aviva Children's Services is an Arizona Qualified Foster Care Organization.
