As the official philanthropic and collaborative partner of Grand Canyon National Park, Grand Canyon Conservancy’s mission is to inspire generations of park champions to cherish and support the natural and cultural wonder of Grand Canyon.
About This Cause
Serving as Grand Canyon National Park’s official nonprofit partner, Grand Canyon Conservancy is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization chartered in 1932 for the sole purpose of supporting the National Park Service at Grand Canyon. Grand Canyon Conservancy is uniquely positioned to support Grand Canyon National Park as a U.S. treasure, a World Heritage Site and an international symbol of nature’s grandeur. GCC aspires to touch all those who visit or study the park, deepening their understanding of the park, enhancing their connection to it, and providing philanthropy for science, conservation and visitor amenities. In order to continue to support educational initiatives at Grand Canyon National Park, we raise private funds to benefit Grand Canyon National Park, operate retail book stores and visitor centers within the park, provide premier educational opportunities about the natural and cultural history of the region, and publish a variety of award-winning books, games and more.
