Mission Statement
Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse provides the opportunity to create, sustain and celebrate a life free from abuse. Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse provides domestic abuse crisis intervention and housing, prevention, education, support, and advocacy services to anyone experiencing domestic abuse. While the majority of the people seeking our services are women and their children, our services are available to anyone regardless of gender.
About This Cause
Domestic violence is a major problem in our community, and people are desperate for help. Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse provides domestic abuse crisis intervention and housing, prevention, education, support, and advocacy services to anyone experiencing domestic abuse. While the majority of the people seeking our services are women and their children, our services are available to anyone regardless of gender. Last year Emerge! provided services to nearly 5,500 adults and children through our programs. Our emergency shelter provided almost 20,000 safe nights and our staff and volunteers answered more than 5,600 hotline calls. Each donation makes an impact on the lives of those facing domestic abuse.
