About This Cause
Keeping families together Casa de los Niños has in‐home programs that help families right where they live…providing parents with resources and skills so they can keep children safe, healthy and at home. Helping Kids. Healing Families. Through the impact of effective programs, we are helping children without having to place them in a shelter! We are serving more children and families in their homes, and will continue to use that space even more effectively to help families. Learn More Strong Foster and Kinship Homes We have built an extensive group of licensed foster homes, and provide encouragement and support to grandparents and other family members who become kinship foster homes after taking in the children of relatives. In-Home Support We provide teams of professionals with problem-solving resources to support families in their homes, improving the safety and well-being of children and families, enhancing family functioning, increasing competence in parenting abilities, fostering a sense of self-reliance, reducing risk factors, increasing protective factors, and stabilizing families. Behavioral Health The mental health and well-being of children and young adults is the corner stone of the work of Casa de los Niños. Behavioral Health Services reaches into homes, schools, domestic violence shelters and other community partners to serve children and young adults dealing with trauma.
