Mission Statement
The Phoenix Fire Foundation is the official 501(c)(3) non-profit charity of the Phoenix Fire Department. We stand committed to supporting the PFD and other public safety agencies in metro Phoenix, and throughout the region, in their daily efforts to save lives and protect our families and communities. The Foundation allows community members and businesses to make tax-deductible donations to provide necessary equipment, resources, training, technology and education programs. This helps keep the public and our first responders as healthy & safe as possible, while also helping to preserve our rich history and traditions.
About This Cause
Phoenix fire fighters cover an area that measures over 500 square miles. They stand responsible for a city that more than 1.6 million people call home. They respond to more than 235,000 9-1-1 emergencies each and every year. That’s where the Phoenix Fire Foundation comes in. As the official non-profit charitable arm of the Phoenix Fire Department, the efforts of the Foundation begin where the Fire Department’s resource-strapped budget ends. The Phoenix Fire Foundation, previously the Fire & Life Safety Public Awareness League (Fire PAL) is the official 501(c)(3) non-profit charity of the Phoenix Fire Department. The Foundation encourages and appreciates individuals and businesses that make tax-deductible donations to provide necessary equipment, resources, training, technology and education programs. This support helps keep our communities and our first responders as healthy and safe as possible, while also preserving our rich history and traditions.
