Mission Statement
The mission of Hope Community Services is to create lasting solutions for children and families by providing innovative programs to foster safe and healthy communities within Arizona.
About This Cause
Hope Community Services (HCS) started in 1986 as West Valley Child Crisis Center (WVCCC) providing emergency shelter services for children who had been neglected, abused, or abandoned. Today, HCS continues to serve vulnerable children in Arizona who have experienced extreme trauma. We do this through our child welfare and behavioral health programs listed below. Child Welfare Services: • Family Support and Reunification / Visitation Services Behavioral Health Services: • General Outpatient Therapy • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) • Animal Assisted Therapy (mini horses, goats, bunnies, cats, lizards, and more) • Therapeutic Gardening • Psychoeducational Program We count on community support to provide our services. All donations to HCS go directly toward our child welfare and behavioral health programs. HCS is also a Qualifying Foster Care Charitable Organization (QFCO #10030)! You can donate up to $1,000 (married) or $500 (single) and qualify for the Arizona QFCO tax credit.
