About This Cause
New Life Center provides a safe haven for families and individuals fleeing domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Our comprehensive 120-day program empowers families to craft independent lives. In addition to safety, the Center provides necessary living needs - food, clothing and bedding - since most residents enter with no belongings. Advocates assist families in working towards achieving both short- and long-term goals and support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. New Life Center's program have proven their success - 95% of the families that come through our doors do not return to the abusive environments from which they came. New Life Center serves more than 1,000 children and adults annually through our emergency shelter and outreach support programs. More than 70% of New Life Center’s shelter population is children, and on average we serve over 1,200 individuals every year. It is our goal to create an Arizona where all live free of domestic and sexual violence.
