Mission Statement
Pets on Wheels Scottsdale provides pet visits to the elderly and infirm. A team, consisting of an owner and a pet, visits once a week to bring smiles of comfort and joy to people living in facilities providing; skilled nursing, memory care, assisted living, cancer treatment and school special classes.
About This Cause
Pets on Wheels of Scottsdale has been in continuous operation since 1990. It is an all volunteer group, which subsists strictly on donations. It averages 80 - 100 teams, consisting of an owner and a pet. These teams visit an average of 200 hours each month and make approximately 2000 contacts.
