Mission Statement

Our mission is to make an everlasting difference in the lives of teenagers.

About This Cause

Solid Rock is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit Arizona corporation founded in 1995 by long-time Arizona residents Alice and Sheryl Cooper and friend Chuck Savale. Solid Rock’s primary mission is to make an everlasting difference in the lives of teens by meeting their spiritual, economical, physical, and social needs by offering a safe, engaging environment during non-school hours – a time when they are most vulnerable to drugs, violence, and gangs. Maintaining “a teen’s worst enemy is too much time on their hands,” "The Rock" provides the music, arts, vocational programs and fellowship that challenge teens to discover their passion through music, dance, the arts, self-expression, and creativity. Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers inspire teens to discover their talent and achieve artistic excellence through music, dance, and the arts as well as vocational training in sound, lighting, staging, and fellowship, all in a safe, supervised facility. Locations in Phoenix and Mesa, Arizona, encompasses a dance studio, computer lab and music rooms for guitar, drums, bass and vocal lessons, an art studio, recording studio, and video studio as well as a rec room.
