About This Cause
Cancer Support Community Arizona (CSCAZ) provides bilingual (English/Spanish), comprehensive, no-fee psychosocial programs to support individuals, families and caregivers through their cancer journey. We offer an average of 100 programs each month, including health & nutrition, support groups, expressive arts, education seminars, workshops, youth/teen & family programs and fun community events. CSCAZ employs an evidence-based approach to all offerings and utilizes a Five Pillar program design: Support, Education, Healthy Lifestyle, Social Connections and Resources/Referrals. At CSCAZ, a small staff, a fully engaged Board of Directors and 300+ volunteers demonstrate exceptional organizational capacity. CSCAZ works with Arizona residents of all ages who are cancer survivors or currently battling cancer of any type, as well as their family members, friends, and caregivers. CSCAZ services support individuals at any stage along the cancer continuum, including at diagnosis, treatment, post-treatment, long-term survivorship, end-of-life and bereavement. All CSCAZ services are offered at no-charge, and most are offered in both English and Spanish.
