Mission Statement
The mission of Feed My Sheep Homeless Outreach is to provide compassionate assistance to the homeless and underprivileged community in Las Vegas. Through our Street Feeding program, Pot-luck dinners, and Pop-Up Events, we feed a home-cooked meal to approximately 7000 annually, offering unconditional support to those in need. In addition to the homeless, we strive to assist families that are struggling by providing appropriate resources to them and walking alongside them as we help them navigate their situation to make a better life for themselves and their families. As well as meeting their basic nutritional needs, we aim to extend a helping hand based on their needs. Through our Bus Tickets Home program, we provide transportation to families who have the opportunity to reunite with loved ones willing to provide support and shelter. Moreover, we offer temporary lodging to those who require a safe and clean space for recuperation or assistance for individuals stranded in Las Vegas. We also provide food services to families with children who are experiencing food scarcity, among other support initiatives. For those who successfully secure housing, we offer assistance in furnishing their new homes and supplying essential items. Our homeless outreach program provides assistance such as gas to help stranded guests return home, auto repairs for those experiencing vehicle issues, hotel accommodation, and a wide range of additional support services. We offer access to our job board, encouraging them to find work, get out from under government assistance and build a strong foundation for their families, and eventually give back to society. We provide assistance with TAM cards, guard cards, work clothing and shoes, hard hats, and whatever they need to start working! At Feed My Sheep, we believe in establishing personal connections and ministering to the spiritual well-being of our homeless friends. We dedicate time to building relationships and fostering a sense of belonging. In addition to addressing their immediate needs, we provide valuable resources and information to guide them in their journey toward finding a pathway out of homelessness. Our holistic approach ensures that individuals receive the support they need to regain stability and self-sufficiency. We provide resources ensuring they seek help at as many places as possible to get out of the situation they are in.
