Mission Statement
We are a community of Argentinians who gather regularly to preserve our culture, customs, and traditions with the intention of sharing them with our families, friends, the people of Portland, and the surrounding areas.
About This Cause
We strive for the Portland Argentinian Festival to be a widely known event in the Portland area that is recognized by the Argentinian community in Oregon and throughout the United States, as a way of continuing to share our culture, customs, and traditions and preserve them for generations to come. Coinciding with the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, the festival will feature tango shows, live music and other performances highlighting Argentinian culture. This is an event for the whole family, which will include food carts, a full bar, information booths, exhibits, games and workshops to learn different and unique traditions from Argentina.
