About WMN Unite WMN Unite is a 501c-3 women-run nonprofit organization that empowers and educates women. Through initiatives focused on health and wellness, economic growth, supportive networks, and sustainability. We aim to create positive change and opportunities for under-resourced communities and women.
About This Cause
WMN Unite believes in equity and inclusion, creating opportunities for women of all backgrounds to access the resources, education, and connections they need to thrive. Our programs emphasize health, resilience, and personal growth, enabling women to enhance their daily lives, improve longevity, and build the stability needed to support themselves. By addressing challenges such as mental health stigmas, limited access to wellness resources, and economic instability, we provide women with tools to overcome barriers and lead fulfilling lives. Our vision is to scale our impact by expanding programs, forging new partnerships, and developing an online membership portal, WMNx, to connect women with health practitioners, small businesses, and consultants. With a commitment to adaptability and innovation, WMN Unite is poised to deepen its impact, ensuring every woman in our community and beyond has the opportunity to achieve her potential and contribute to a more equitable future. Together, we are fostering a world where women’s wellness and empowerment are prioritized and celebrated. Our inclusive approach is reflected in the diversity of our partners, volunteers, and advisors, who come from various racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. We work with local organizations like Neighbors Link, Northern Westchester Community Center and the Food Pantry, healthcare providers like Open Door, and leaders who understand and value the importance of serving under-resourced communities. Moreover, our programming continuously adapts to address the unique needs of diverse populations. For example, we offer culturally relevant educational materials, celebrate diverse traditions, and ensure that all participants, regardless of identity, feel safe and valued in our programs. Through these efforts, WMN Unite works to create an environment where everyone, especially those from marginalized groups, can access opportunities to improve their health, wealth, and overall well-being.
