Mission Statement
At the One Love Community Consortium, our mission is to create a transformative impact by supporting birth equity, health equity, education, and community building across Long Island, NY. We are dedicated to fostering a community of informed individuals who raise awareness about healthcare inequities and provide access to comprehensive, personalized care for all. Through our collaborative efforts, we aim to build and support healthy birth outcomes for women of color, empowering them to experience childbirth with dignity, respect, and optimal well-being.
About This Cause
We are the Founders of One Love Community Consortium (a 501c3 organization) Together, we envision a future where birth equity, health equity, education, and community building are woven into the fabric of Long Island, NY, empowering women and communities of color to thrive. One Love midwifery and One Love Community Consortium is a woman of color led community care and advocacy model. We are the answers we seek.We are leaders in our own care. “One Love” is our core value. We will open a BIPOC owned and operated office, birthing service, lactation support, and freestanding birth center. Provide exemplary, safe, quality, loving care, and supportive services to all birthing persons, regardless of their ability to pay.
