Mission Statement
Empower young women, with a strong focus on uplifting Latina women, while welcoming participants from all backgrounds. Through mentorship, education, and community engagement, we help them recognize their value, celebrate their achievements, and confidently pursue their dreams. We aim to inspire, mobilize, and equip the next generation with the skills to lead in their communities.
About This Cause
Pineapple Women empowers young women and gender-expansive youth—especially Latinas and first-generation students—through mentorship, education, and digital storytelling. We provide tools, community, and support to help them grow as confident leaders and changemakers. These groups remain significantly underrepresented across STEM fields, leadership roles, and creative industries. Research shows that only 7% of STEM jobs and 1% of Fortune 500 leadership positions are held by Latinas, highlighting the urgent need for intentional investment in equity, representation, and opportunity. Pineapple Women addresses these disparities through flagship programs like Pineapple Empower, which combines mentorship, confidence-building workshops, and digital portfolio creation. Participants create personal websites, interview role models, and build the tools to tell their stories and lead with purpose. We are committed to building a more inclusive future by amplifying underrepresented voices, fostering leadership in overlooked communities, and making digital literacy and personal growth accessible—always free of cost to participants.
