For every veteran and their spouse to have access to the tools, training, and mentoring necessary to hone the experiences and leadership potential gained from their service and use it to thrive in their professional lives.
About This Cause
ProVet USA is dedicated to launching US military veterans and their spouses into upwardly mobile careers through our personalized leadership training, psychometric testing, and mentoring program developed by veterans and organizational psychologists. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, ProVet USA’s services are provided at no cost to the veteran. The ProVet Leadership Academy is a 12 week leadership training program. Over the 12 weeks, program participants will complete weekly courses conducted on demand and completely online to serve the needs of any student. A series of 48 high-impact micro learning video sessions will be distributed at the beginning of each week. These micro learning sessions will be custom-tailored to the student receiving them based on the results of their psychometric testing and will include reflections and assessments to gauge lesson retention. At the end of the week, each student will meet with their assigned accountability mentor and speak about their weekly lessons and about the ways to operationalize these lessons into their daily lives. Accountability mentors will serve as guides throughout the ProVet program, tailoring program content to the student's specific needs as they are challenged and grow over the 12-week course. Students will gain many valuable insights including interview preparation skills, salary and benefits negotiation tactics, how to effectively manage a team, and much more. Upon successful completion of the ProVet Leadership Academy, graduates will receive a ProVet Leadership Academy Certificate, personalized job placement assistance, and access to a custom tailored suit. Job placement assistance includes continued interview preparation, a resume building team, access to ProVet Preferred job listings, and continued salary and benefits negotiation coaching. ProVet Alumni will also be eligible to participate in all future ProVet Leadership Networking events and will have full access to the robust community of ProVet mentors and coaches as they continue their transition into the civilian workforce. ProVet is dedicated to advancing the post-service lives of American veterans and their families through leadership training.
