Mission Statement
Arizona Baptist Children's Services & Family Ministries (ABCS) is a faith-based nonprofit with seven ministries united under one mission: to provide hope and care to hurting children and families through Christ-centered ministries. These seven ministries respond to the hurting across Arizona by providing services that meet physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Through these seven ministries and with your support, ABCS serves the full spectrum of Arizona families, from unborn babies to senior adults.
About This Cause
Arizona Baptist Children's Services & Family Ministries (ABCS) is a faithbased nonprofit with seven ministries united under one mission: to provide hope and care to hurting children and families through Christ-centered ministries. These seven ministries provide services across the state that meet physical, emotional and spiritual needs. The 10 New Life Pregnancy Center locations across Arizona and 1 in Mexico provide free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, give out diapers and baby clothing and teach parenting classes. Arms of Love Foster Care & Parent Aide provide DCS-related services, such as licensing foster families, supervising visits and guiding parents through one-on-one parenting sessions. Community Resources Centers, including the Rio Vista Center, Casa de Amor and Caring Ministries, distribute food boxes and clothing and help meet other basic needs. Mission Encounter 360 connects God's people to service and learning opportunities through volunteering and interning. New Life Counseling provides affordable Christ-centered counseling to individuals, couples, children and families and Leader Care services to pastors, church staff and their families. The New Life Transitional Program guides men and women from hardship to hope and prepares them for self-sufficiency. Pursue Life Adult Ministry leads aging adults to live fully in every season of life, maintaining independence and quality of life. Through these seven ministries and with your support, ABCS serves the full spectrum of Arizona families, from unborn babies to senior adults.
