Utah Pride is a catalyst for building and celebrating the strength, equality, dignity and self-determination of the LGBTQIA+ community throughout Utah. We are committed to excellence in execution and the continuing improvement of all programs, services, education and advocacy. We value and support individuals, families, and allies and building partnerships across communities.

About This Cause

Highlights from Utah Pride Center & Festival- Over 100,000 attendees in 2022 marking the state's largest Pride Event to date. Utah Pride's Health & Wellness Programs Provides low-cost mental health counseling to the LGBTQ community. Over 1,100 support group attendees. Utah Pride's Youth Programs Average number of youths attending drop-in hours per month: 80 Most attended activity each week: Youth Support Group Number of Gay-Straight Alliance clubs in Utah high schools: 28 Average number of attendees at the annual Queer Prom event: 500 Utah Pride's Trans & Non- Binary Programs GenderRevolution Conference - Education on Trans medical services Support Groups Advocacy at Utah Pride Statewide policy change implemented for best practices serving LGBTQ youth in Utah's Child Welfare System. Offers Cultural Competency trainings. Offers Suicide Prevention training and resources. Works closely other affirming organizations in Utah to provide support and services to families with LGBTQ children. Utah Marriage Equality Campaign led coalition of 29 "Red States" to elevate Utah's voice in the recent U.S. Supreme Court hearings in Proposition 8 and DOMA. Monthly appearances in Utah's major media outlets, TV, radio, and print. National news presence during the Utah Pride Festival.
