We provide grants, training, networking, and comprehensive support to address their community challenges effectively. Through our strategic grant-making, cutting-edge training, and vibrant network, we equip young leaders with the tools, knowledge, and community they need to excel. About This Cause
Civic Leadership Academy (CLA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, educational, and grant-making organization to support nonprofit organizations, programs, community leaders nationwide focusing on civic engagement and civic leadership development by providing grants, training resources and networking opportunities, etc. CLA was spun off from Civic Leadership USA (CLUSA), which was founded by Mr. Sandy Chau, chairman of the board of Civic Leadership USA. Values Empowerment: We believe in empowering young community leaders nationwide. Through our support we enable them to promote civic engagement and develop strong civic leadership within their communities. Collaboration: By connecting individuals and organizations, we create a platform for sharing knowledge, experiences, and best practices. This collaboration strengthens their collective impact and enhances their effectiveness in addressing the complex challenges they face. Resources: We offer valuable training resources to equip leaders with the skills and knowledge they need to excel. Our resources are designed to enhance their capabilities, enabling them to become more effective in their work and better equipped to tackle the multifaceted issues affecting their communities. Effectiveness: Our support goes beyond financial assistance to provide comprehensive resources and guidance. We aim to help these individuals and organizations maximize their potential and achieve meaningful outcomes. Community Focus: By enabling leaders to promote civic engagement and civic leadership development, we contribute to the growth, well-being, and empowerment of these communities.
